I went with friends on a Saturday night and waited for 15 mins or so for a table. It was crowded and very noisy. The food was pretty good, nothing really to brag about. However, I am a vegetarian, and most of the dishes had meat, so perhaps I should reserve judgment. I had the half order of pesto pasta,... More

My husband and I were looking for someplace to eat in Lambertville, NJ. We found a cute place called Bell's Tavern. It is several blocks off Bridge Street and we were pleasantly surprised when we walked it. It at first seemed like a neighborhood bar, but in the back was the restaurant. The tables are very close so if you... More

I have been here about 6 times- usually sitting alone at the bar to get a quick & tasty bite. The service is very friendly. The red wines are always good and reasonably priced. I love the Arugula & Prosciutto Salad Special- it's fresh, delicious and plentiful. I generally get a half portion of pasta next - really nice that... More

My wife's sister lives near this place, and she had told us about a pub that had the "only licensed regulated Guinness tap" in America. We were making a trip to the area to arrive around dinner time, so we decided this was the place to shoot for. While we did not know the name, a Google search for "Guinness"... More

Bells is a hometown hangout. Monday nights, they have a steak special that you can't beat. Nice atmosphere. They could use to have fresher bread, but everything else is good!

This is a very small kitchen and not staffed as a professional kitchen with a chef and sous chef and cooks. Bell's produces to the best of its abilities given its limitations. This affects selection to a limited number of food items - most of which are pre-prepared and then warmed for serving. When I read reviews that use "fresh"... More

Bell's has always been popular with the locals because the food is consistently excellent. The circular bar is very comfortable and friendly, especially on rainy winter nights. There are a few tables in the bar area which has always been my choice for seating. The dining room has little ambiance. It's a rather plain space, but who cares when the... More

My husband and I travel to Lambertville, NJ to eat at Bells. We ate there just last weekend. It was as good as ever! Wonderful staff and service, but the food is the main attraction. Fresh daily specials, and wonderful everyday menu with such great food, we usually order two extra meals just to take home! Bells is a small,... More

My husband and I went there the other night with friends. We have been customers of Bell's for about 20 years. I don't know if it was an off night or what , but it was just OK. My husband ordered sea scallops, for $28.95, he got 5 scallops and a small side of mini diced potatoes, no salad or... More
