They are busy but the wait is never long. The staff is always amazing, and the food - FANTASTIC!
We go there for brunch and we always leave highly satisfied.

In my book this was no place to write home about. It was a typical cafe on a street of cafes in Jersey City. They provide seating inside or out. A local residents selected the place. It was with in walking distance of their apartment. Parking in this neighborhood is next to impossible on a weekend and we did not...

Good coffee and pastries. Service is usually slow. Can sit outside but no views except people going to and from train. Loud outside too. Next to City Hall.

I visited this cafe twice during a recent stay in Jersey City. The building and interior is charming and there is a nice, relaxed atmosphere within.
I went for the sausage and egg bagel and on the second visit I chose the ham and cheese croissant. Very tasty and also the latte coffees are very pleasing.
Prices are good and...

This cafe is cute, good for a quick meal with friends. I have very different experience everytime I go there. Sometimes food is very good and sometimes it's pretty bad. It has a small menu for entrees but the food is good in taste and quantity. It allows bringing your own beverage (BYOB). If you love coffee and pastries, this cafe won't disappoint you. Try Cappuccino...

Beechwood is a beautiful place but overpriced and processed, overpriced pre-prepared food. The service is lacking because the cheap owner doesn't hire enough servers. We were shocked to observe that the packed place had only ONE server. That has happened several times so it's no because one day someone called out sick.

Not too fancy, but very reliable.
Great brunch, if not the best in the Grove St. Area.

Went again yesterday.
Not OVERLY expensive, not cheap either, and also, not impressed.
Breakfast burrito was bland, and the croissant egg sandwich was as well. The "apple smoked bacon" was average greasy bacon out of a package, and the coffee was either burned or not good.
Chocolate chip cookie on the way out was good.
Sorry Beech, but not only...
