Last weekend my daughter and I took two friends to visit Cape May. The Blue Pig was recommended by another friend so we went there for lunch. It was quiet and pleasant. Our lunches were a bit pricey but we didn't want fast food so I thought it was worth the price to sit in the historic hotel and enjoy... More

My wife and enjoy sitting at the bar in the Brown Room. The Sunday Barman Luci is a very good host. He makes a nice variety of drinks and let me sample the wine before purchasing. The bar is very popular with tourists and locals alike, especially in the off season. My only suggestion would be that management make food... More

I would like to delete our previous review titled "Sit on the patio and enjoy the crabcakes," but I was unable to find a "delete review" button so I am writing this updated review. My wife and I want to love the Blue Pig for the ambiance and proximity to the center of Cape May, but as we have returned... More

We always like to eat here in the winter months because of the gigantic fireplace which gives one a cozy warm feeling. The food and service are good. Sometimes great, depending on the season. The fish and chips are terrific. The salmon is also nice. More

Address on Trip Advisor is INCORRECT. If you go there, you will not see this restaurant! Being from out of town we could not find, called, still went to wrong location (Commerce St vs PL) and this was unnecessarily difficult. Like twilight zone. Upon arrival the website menu did not completely match particularly the nightly $25 blue plate w/soup and... More

At the Congress Hall now for two nights. Ate dinner at the Blue pig twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Breakfast was good. The meatloaf both my husband and I had was REALLY SALTY. At first we thought it was the little bit of gravy they put on the small meat loaf the size of a cigarette pack,... More

Accustomed to eating later (8pm), we found dining options in the middle of the week during off-season can be limited in Cape May. We wound up at the Blue Pig hoping to find a modest meal but got much more. The restaurant gets a number of ingredients from their local Beach Plum Farm and the chef uses them well to... More
