Sean and the staff were so attentive and helpful. The dinner was wonderful. Deviled eggs without compare., Ambiance and attentiveness beyond reproach. We were not rushed, and enjoyed every moment of the experience.

We just returned from our first trip to Cape May and will never return to the Ebbitt Room.
We were there as a surprise for my husbands birthday. I was very excited for the farm to table service and since it was Restaurant week I made a reservation directly off the restaurant week website. Nowhere did it state that we...

Sitting at the bar drinking basil lemon drop martinis, we saw a beautiful steak and crab cake come out, complete with truffle parm fries. We knew what we were ordering. From the first sip to the last bite, the Ebbitt Room impressed us.
The tuna tartare is exquisite, the watermelon was a great addition and made the dish special. The...

Great little bar, excellent food, attentive staff, beatiful room. Just a fantastic place to have a cocktail or dinner.
We've been to Cape May many times over the last five years and are sorry to admit we only heard about this restaurant on our last visit before we move 1000 miles away. I highly recommend going here for a fancy and romantic dinner. The first thing you notice about the place is the beautiful front porch, which overlooks a...

It seems fitting that the Ebbitt is located in the charming Virginia Hotel. A setting of past elegance and modern day "farm to table" cuisine, this restaurant is a gem. Food is extraordinary, service is helpful and friendly and the piano bar makes a formal setting warm and cozy. Perfect for any night in any season.
We dined here during Memorial Day weekend. Everything was delicious from appetizers to dessert. I started off with the Beach Plum Farm deviled eggs. There were three eggs topped with lobster, calamari, and fluke ceviche respectively. Each was delicious. My dinning companion had the beet salad which was a bit salty but still very good. Entrees included flounder with a...

Drove from Philadelphia to check out the changes in the Ebbitt Room. The bar is bigger, livelier. The piano player has been moved to a roomier lounge. The dining room has been restructured to make it less formal. Service was warm, friendly, knowledgeable. Five of the nine main courses featured seafood. Much of the produce came from their own organic...

Enjoyed the dinner. Excellent service and pleasing atmosphere. Live piano music Friday & Saturday nites which made the ambiance more appealing also. The food, as you can read elsewhere, is of utmost quality and freshness. Our seating arrangement for 4 was requested prior & they were more than happy to comply with the request. I would highly recommend for a...
