We ate lunch here one day, the place was packed and we barely waited at all. The waitresses never stopped, service was great, food was wonderful. Nothing fancy, diner type atomsphere with comfort food. More

Having stopped in at Grandma's on a whim last spring, we knew it was wonderful. So when we were passing through Whitefield again this April, we planned to eat here again. The food is still just as good, the service friendly and accurate. We both had bacon cheeseburgers (burgers hand formed from real beef, no preformed or frozen patties here),... More

I can only echo many of the sentiments I read here. I took the wife and our two boys, 10 and 5 years old to dinner here yesterday (04132012). Fried Haddock, all you can eat, and excellent. The service, too, was great. Out only complaint, and I felt it was minor but perhaps not the Mrs., was the really strong... More

We stayed at the Bretton Woods Lodge near Mt. Washington and make the 12 mile drive to this place. Best food of our entire trip. It's a down home diner with freshly made pastries, deserts, and fantastic meatloaf :) My son had pancakes for dinner... My husband pork chops. We all left full and happy with the experience. More

We stayed at the Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa. There are really no restaurants near the resort. I read the reviews on this place which seemed ok so we decided not to judge a book by it's cover. We entered the restaurant which was very busy - mostly senior citizens. There were 2 empty tables that needed clearning and... More

Grandma's is the kind of place to go when you want a decent home cooked meal and a slice of homemade pie for dessert. If you're visiting from out of town and you want special treatment, this is not the place for you. No liquor license, no credit cards...just good food. We've eaten here many times (including today) and have... More
