I live nearby - (and don't know the owners) but I have to say whenever we want to entertain special guests - we bring them to the Squam Lake Inn... the food is very fresh and always good, the waitstaff is helpful, and the atmosphere is charming! Admittedly it can be a little higher priced than some places, but they... More

We have eaten here several times. The mussels are to die for, the squamritas are delicious, and the food is remarkably fresh and very good across the board. The wait staff is wonderful. Molly, for example, the waitress we had last, is welcoming, attentive and very helpful with advice about what to order. Specials do run out pretty quickly because... More

We found this place by accident on our way to plymouth. All 4 of us loved our sandwhiches. They were large and delicious. Nice local beer selection too. The Inn is really nice and the satff very friendly. I will definately return there next time I am in the area. More

We had breakfast here daily and it was consistently good. We also enjoyed soup for lunch one afternoon and it was delicious. Everything is fresh and delicious and it's clear that the ladies at SQI aim to please. More

We were staying at the Inn and ate dinner here two nights. Both meals were wonderful. I loved that the side of vegetables are not an after thought. We had fish/scallops one meal and both items were cooked to perfection. Another night we had Squash Ravioli (extremely good) and a pasta dish with their vodka sauce (we thought could have... More

We love eating at Squam Lake Inn. We have dinner there several times each summer, and it simply keeps getting better. Very comfortable restaurant with three choices of rooms in which to eat - inside, inside/outside and outside. Great people, from the owners, to the chefs, to the waitstaff, etc., always warm and friendly. The food sources are fresh, often... More

Wonderful little place just off the main road. food is fresh and good. Patio seating is great. Relaxed environment. Ice cream sandwiches are worth the trip. Lunch combos are very good. Fresh baked breads for the sandwiches. More

My wife and I eat here frequently. This is the number one choice to bring guests to for a meal during the summer - they are a seasonal facility. Our one problem is trying to figure out whether we prefer dining here for lunch or dinner. Not having made a decision we keep trying. More
