We took a drive from Reno to Tahoe on 395 and after visiting Harvey's and Harrah's Casino's, we decided to try Cabo Wabo. The food was good, good service and fair priced. They have TV screens for viewing the sports that were on and the atmosphere is good.

Was here as part of a Chamber event and the staff went out of their way to help everyone and provide excellent service. Definitively a place to bring friends.

We hadn't been here since they remodeled the place and reworked the menu a year ago. We didn't check out the dining room, but the bar area is much larger now. They opened things up by removing the partitions and raising the ceiling. It's still a fun and lively place. And yes, it's loud, but hey, it's Cabo Wabo! The... More

My husband and I had dinner on a Saturday evening before going to a show at Harrah's. Cabo Wabo has been remodeled with a bigger bar and a somewhat changed menu in the past year. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas which were really fresh and our meals were served in a timely manner as we mentioned we needed to get... More

The atmosphere is loud and annoying to a 60-year old. The atmosphere is dark and not conductive to a nice meal. 2 stars because if you can get over the atmosphere, the food is good.

Drinks are expensive but good (all drinks in Tahoe are expensive). Atmosphere is good, good music, fun crowd, I visit Cabo Wabo multiple times a year.

Pre-show dinner. Chile relleno was mass-produced and OK. More of a breaded batter than a fluffy egg batter. Chicken tamale was bland--I DO NOT recommend it. Chips and salsa were very good--three levels of picante came with the large basket of chips. Service was below par. Server seemed a bit rushed or preoccupied despite the restaurant being only 20% full.... More

We went here just because we wanted some good mexican food and a good margarita. The food was just average, although a little overpriced. But I was shocked to see that the bar bill for 2 margaritas, 2 beers and 3 shots was more than the food. The margaritas were not even good.

At night, this is a crazy place. In the morning, I've found it to be the best breakfast available at Harrah's/Harvey's. It's reasonably priced, quick friendly service, and very good food. This last time, I ate the chorizo breakfast burrito. It's not the Ritz, but it's pretty darn good.
