Check- in was dreadful. We paid for lake view and we didn't get it. Thought by giving us an Exec. suite with mountain view it would be the same - it's not. That's why you pay for and request the view. Clerk actually rolled her eyes at us. Classy touch. Asked for manager - didn't need attitude. She got us... More

I came for a week long conference in the hotel. I changed my reservation after 1 night because the hotel was terrible. I am being nice and giving them 2 stars instead of one because they were nice about my leaving. The smoke from the casino permeates throughout the hotel. There was dirt everywhere. The decor needs updating badly. The... More

Ok...we go to Lake Tahoe often...every season we are there...we stay in either Harvey's or Harrah's, my husband get's comp rooms. We keep having this issue...we go online, put in the comp number off the letter, book the "luxury king" room....check in, and get in an argument with the front desk, when we are placed into one of the pet... When I made our reservations, I got a little worried because of the low price. However, when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. We got lake view rooms and they had been recently renovated. Very spacious and very clean. Our view was great, and the hall was quiet. Yes, it's an older property, and the décor is a little dated,... More

on business and other than Starbucks being in the lobby doesn't ( which is a big plus) cater for business. Rooms are average, no desk to work on, outlets all in the wrong places, decor average at best, painting peeling, dents and knocks ( probably from ski boards) and generally depressing. in defence this is a resort and they don't... We spent our honeymoon here many years ago when there was no tower. In March 2013 we paid $ 270 + dollars a night for a Sunday and Monday. The room is worn with no coffee and spectacular view of snow covered mountains. The room is a very comfortable size and I like that there is a table and two... More

Found a good deal online for a two night midweek stay and booked it. Arrived on a very cold, rain/snow day, but the valet service was top notch, friendly and fast. Checked in at 3pm, greeted warmly be desk staff, but was told room wasn't ready yet. Front desk took my cell number and called me within an hour to... More
