The six of us came here during our trip last week, at the insistence of my bf, who’s been here before and claims this restaurant has the best sushi ever. I can definitely say that this restaurant is top notch. We accidently made our reservation for the wrong night and when we showed up and they couldn’t find it, they... More

The sashimi was exceptional! Sure, its a bit pricey, but its worth it. The food was excellent, the ambience and decor was top notch, and the service was exemplary. The food came out quickly and it was exactly as advertised. A blend of different flavors that just worked. And the wait staff was attentive and unobtrusive. This allowed for conversation... More

Maybe we are just spoiled by this amazing place in our hometown...maybe we are cheap because we are young and middle class...either way, this place was expensive! This was by far the most expensive restaurant that we ate at during our trip. The Kyotto Miso was good, on par with that of our favorite place here in MO. We ordered... More

Very expensive teppan! Service was great, food was good, but could have been better. It was almost like having Bennihan's. But there was no flare, fried rice came at the end of your meal. Took a second to get the chef to even engage with us as he was reserved. Great Kobe beef, excellent Japanese scallops.

Dinner here was very special. Ate edamame, shishito peppers, cod, chicken, tuna roll and rock shrimp. Deliciously washed down with some sake! Service was great, dining room is very seductive. Good for a date or a group!

The atmosphere in Shibuya is outstanding. We had our choice from hot chop tables to regular tables or sushi bar. We choose a regular table since there was four of us. Our waiter was excellent. He was extremely knowledgable and able to advise us on selecting Saki. The ones he recommended to accompany the food we choose was perfect. All... More

Staying for one night at the MGM and wanted a special meal with raw oysters....Decided to eat at Shibuya because they had cooking tables. The dinner was superb, starting with an ahi appetizer and finishing with a trio of unique desserts. The waiter was superb and extremely knowledgable about saki & Japanese beer. The cooking table chef was also top... More

First time at Shibuya on my fourth stay at MGM. The service is good, short wait for the order and to be served. Food is very good, we had Edamame, Maguro sashimi, Sake Sashimi, Maguro nigiri, Sake Nigiri, Suzuki nigiri, mushroom Miso, Hamachi nigiri, salmon avocado and two glasses of wine ($120+tax). The restaurant is very nice - accordingly to... More

We discovered Shibuya at the MGM Grand while waiting to see KA. Boy, was that a lucky find! The restaurant had some of the freshest, tenderest, most delicately delicious sushi I've had on this side of the Pacific, and I live in Southern California where it's plentiful! The ambiance is casual but elegant, the service was attentive without being intrusive,... More

Sat at the bar. Service was prompt and courteous. Had their house sake, which was excellent. Also had a variety of nigiri and sashimi, all of which was at least as good as any other sushi place I've been to. Considering the quality of the sushi and the fact that this is in a Vegas hotel, the price was fairly... More
