The service and food was outstanding and that is the reason for the high rating. However, the very high price is what kept me from giving this a 5-Star. All entrees and sides, as well as the wine and service, were outstanding and the atmosphere was good.

I live in DFW which is known for amazing food and its abundance of top steakhouses around the world, I've eaten at every steakhouse you can imagine and NOTHING tops Mastros filet! If you want the best charred rare steak, great sides, excellant service, lovely open esthetically pleasing eating area that is unique, this is it. Staff didn't hover but were always there, how did they do that?? Pricey but worth it. .

Mastro's is located in City Center in Las Vegas and the entry sets the tone as you hand over your car to the valet. Had a good group dinner. Seafood tower was great, drinks and dessert were great. Entree presentation was great. Avoid the Wagu steak if you are looking for USDA steak.
