Fake Italian: opera singing in the background, Italian faux decor etc. Great corn and bacon chowder. Fake chicken piccata- very tasty and worth getting again. Broken espresso machine (not a good sign). Dessert was absolutely vile. Gelato crumbled with the consistency of sand. Horrible. The waitress should have warned the three of us for ordering it. The restaurant was unconscionable... More

Our fourth time and having tried several establishments locally this has just got to be the best. Even from where we come from in Hertfordshire this rates as first class!!!

My husband and I stopped here for an after-work, "let's not cook tonight" dinner. Mid-week, the place was empty when we arrived and two other couples who arrived later rounded out the service for the night. One would expect the service to be attentive since the two servers had nothing else to do: and it was, though not especially friendly.... More

When arriving at Cafe Italia, I was pretty excited to dine there. The restaurant has an old but updated urban feel. The service was great! The men that waited on us were very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. We had the sausage lasagna, crab cakes and capri salad. Everything lacked flavor. We could not finish our... More

Cafe Italia has always been a treat. I have only had dinner there, now that they serve lunch, I will need to try it. Wonderful pastas, sauces and real veal in Montana!

Cafe Italia is a wonderful little restaurant on Montana Avenue. Owned by the same folks as the McCormick Cafe, the food is of high quality and usually with a twist. Our party began our meal with some having a potato cheese soup while others did the butternut squash salad. While the soup was very nice, it wasn't exceptional. Pleasant, warming,... More

I have eaten in and done takeout here. Decent ambiance, but the service is just ... Well there were a couple of teenage boys running front of house last time I was in. Not excellent. I had pasta with lobster which was heavy (drippy) on the butter and no better than what I could make at home. Great price point... More

We ate here for the first time this evening and were very impressed with the overall experience. My husband was served a Caesar Salad with his meal and the presentation was wonderful. The Romaine lettuce was served through the middle of a Baked Parmesan disc and the Caesar dressing was fresh and flavorful. (Anchovies are an extra buck). His entree,... More

This restaurant is pricier than other places in Billings, but the food, service, and atmosphere are fantastic. Also, there are vegetarian options, and the staff are helpful and willing to check if certain dishes contain any meat. We had two vegetarians and two non-vegetarians in our party and everyone enjoyed appetizers (fried mozzarella and tomato gnocchi), entrees (I had a... More
