I wanted to really like this place. We went to it several times, however each time it seemed to get worse. The food is average but the service is terrible. Several times our waiter forgot about us. Once, we were seated and it took them forever to take our order. We were starving. Not impressed with service and quite frankly,... More

Great place to eat. Roomy, yet initmate dining. Fun staff. The best of all is the greatest Pork tenderloin sandwich I have ever eaten. Generious portion, but the taste is mouthwatering. The pork tenderloin is thick, but not too thick. Great quality pork from local butcher that has no taste of fat. The best part is the coating. I don't... More

Good family restaurant with a wide variety of menu choices, along with a full bar. Try an "unsung hero" if you like to imbibe and a chicken fried steak if you're hungry. Good service too.

If you are back in Warrensburg to visit your alma mater or going there for the first time, Heros will NOT disappoint. They have an excellent drink menu (try the Unknown Hero) as well as great food. The environment is causal and family friendly.

We always try to avoid the chain restaurants and prefer locally owned establishments. Heroes has been in business for 30 some years. I think they've grown tired of the restaurant game because their menu and food are not at all special. It's a shame because this could be such a great place. Location is excellent, nice big restaurant space, too... More

We were in town for one night and stopped at Heroes. Nice atmosphere right downtown. SUPER onion rings.

We've never had a bad experience at Heroes. Food is always better than average. The Catherine's Chicken (chicken breast smothered in peppers onions and provolone) is wonderful, as are the cheese fries! Comfy, upscale bar/grill atmosphere.

The trip to this place was one of those "bucket list" type of places ... I had the enjoyment of having their Unknown Hero drink in my younger days but had never eaten there. Since the time I was there they have expanded their seating and moved the bar. The food we ordered was standard fare for a bar type... More

Visted Warrensburg, Missouri today and it was my very first time in the town. Looking for a good place to eat in a small town I checked tripadvisor for advice. One of the places that was recommended was Heroes. I and a group of my extended family had lunch there. The food was excellent, esp. the tenderloin sandwich and onion... More
