I've been here many times. They have a diverse menu with great salads, soups and entrees. The setting is special in he heart of old St. Charles. Well stocked bar with many special brews from Trailhead. Prices are reasonable. They feature a special white chili that is awesome. They will give you the recipe if you ask at the bar.... More

Good pub fare and great views of St. Charles from the covered deck upstairs. Interesting sides like Spanish rice.

The food has been great here for the 20 plus years. The design (3 floors) of the establishment and its location make it a great place to meet and greet, or just dine on some amazing food. I would highly recommend this place to any local or tourist.

We have been stopping here off and on for several years. The first time we visited we were impressed. The food was good, the location was great, and the hustle of the staff was a good change from some places we go. Each time we have gone back we are less enchanted, and the food seems just a bit less... More

We lucked out on this gorgeous day and had lunch on the third floor covered porch. It was beautiful, sunny, and warm. Our waitress was friendly, polite, and timely. Our food was felicitous, although the delicious chicken salad needed some seasoning. The house salad I chose as a side was fresh and tasty. It could have included more variety of... More

I understand this restaurant has a new owner. With a new owner I tried this restaurant as I would try any new restaurant. Some updates and improvements were badly needed. Unfortunately this has not happened. The new owner simply picked up where the old owner left off. The service and food were poor to bad.

Don't eat there their service is rude and a former employee said they eat food off of the customers plate before they serve it and also they have roaches in the kitchen so people don't eat there

The atmosphere of Lewis and Clark's is probably the best thing about it honestly. I've never had a bad experience there but it's not stellar, nor what it used to be. I just went there today and was disappointed they 're no longer affiliated with trailhead; I really enjoyed having the beers there since I won't eat at trailhead as... More

We visited with a group of 20+ baseball team parents and found the menu to be varied and satisfying for our crowd. The restaurant took our reservation and were very accommodating with seating arranged and a flat screen tv set up to watch a March Madness game. They offered separate checks for couples & singles. It was nice they seated... More

This restaurant used to be my favorite place to take my family in Saint Charles. At least is was until I tried to take my visiting aunt (a vegan) along with my family. We called ahead to see if they could accomodate her diet, and we were assured they could. But when she went to place her order, the waitor... More
