A special place to have lunch with a friend. The food and presentation is very nice. The antiques are fun to look at although most were too pricey to pick up on a whim. This historic building is a pleasure to see!

Wow, what a beautiful historic building in the middle of Kansas City. Talk about character. The restaurant is wonderful with great food, good service & interesting room. Great for ladies' luncheons but plenty of men with their wives & men on business lunches. Didn't eat here for supper or Sunday brunch, but my friend assures me it's the same quality.... More

While in Kansas City for a conference I went to Webster House for lunch. For me, the star of the show was not only the lovely restaurant space, but the sour cherry cheesecake which was the perfect combination of tart and sweet. Had the pulled pork sandwich which was messy enough to have me eating it with a fork. The... More

First time to the Webster House, and we already look forward to our next visit. The atmosphere, food, and service were all just notch. Our waiter, Jason, was so cheerful and helpful throughout our dinner -- try to get a seat in his area. We really lucked out by first of all getting one of the few round tables and... More

Such a classy venue to have a group dinner or for a quick lunch and shopping. Browsing the different rooms filled with antigues is a great way to spend the afternoon. Food is excellent!

This old school house has great character. We had trouble finding a parking place as there were performances at the Kaufman and art downtown, but after circling the block there is public pay parking just next door to it. Once we got inside we were charmed by the place. Our server Sara was very attentive, but not obtrusive. I liked... More

I went for a birthday dinner & a show at Kauffman Center right afterwards. I got a reservation easily on their site a couple weeks before hand. The service was great and the food was incredible. It took longer to eat because we loved every single bite. We started with the hot pretzel rolls which were amazing, followed by the... More

Webster House in Kansas City offers an upscale dining opportunity at reasonable prices. Once a school, Webster House combines upscale shopping with dining near the Kaufman Center for Performing Arts in downtown KC. The area offers views of the skyline, including skyscrapers and the World War I Liberty tower. The restaurant offers an eclectic menu. We had lunch during our... More

Met a friend here for lunch and found everything to be absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious! Although I did not have time to shop this time, I have visited many times to wander through the rooms of unique items. The unique setting of the old school house, the charm of the interior and the tasty food should be at... More
