We love the baked beans -- always have and always will. The BBQ sauce on the meats is not a sweet sauce which we like since we're trying to cut sugar from diet.

I have never actually eaten in the restaurant but I have had the pleasure a time or two to have their food catered or purchased at our local grocery store during an event. Just the right amount of sweet and sassy in the barbeque sauce.

Beans are great, I take to all our family gatherings. Meat by the pound and supportive of local kids. Good community partner and excellent food. Smell the wood smoke bar-b-q for miles. Come in and try.

I love the rustic atmosphere, the service is always friendly, without being pushy, which makes me nervous. And the food never disappoints me. The biggest problem I have is deciding what to order, I love it all!

Friendly service and great sides (baked beans, cheesy corn, wedge cut fries, Cole slaw...) but the BBQ was just average to poor. My burnt ends were completely charred through and impossible to chew, ribs were very fatty... On our next visit to the Kansas City area we will look elsewhere for good BBQ.
