Sometimes we just need the comfort of a predictably decent meal, and we get that with Lone Star's salmon dinner. Tonight was no exception. We've been on the road for several days, tried some local restaurants in other cities, and decided we needed a predictably decent meal. Glenn, our waiter, provided great service ... another "predictable" at Lone Star: somewhat... More

Our entire dining experience took a little over two hours and not because our food was slow cooked. The wait staff was undermanned and our waitress was mostly unavailable. We ordered our steaks medium and medium rare. When the steaks arrived an hour later the outsides were so hard we could barely get the knives through the surface. They reordered our... More

This is husband and myself favorite place..we sit together and take in the aspmaspher. Order a blooming onion, it is the best in time. Then a salad, then our favorite is the San Antonia Steak cooked med. fully loaded potato, or sweetpotato with butter and cinnimon yum yum,. If there is a line, don't complain it is worth the wait.

Standard bar area with food choices similar to a mid level Texas themed steak house. Friendly staff and food was what you would expect, not spectacular, but met spur of the moment dinner plans.

It's a medium range steak chain so you know that going in. Service was decent, the steak was cooked as I asked so all in all- for what you pay--not a bad deal. I must say--the dinner rolls & sweet butter are pretty good--basically like a dessert. Priced right for what you get & you can walk back to the... More

Dined at this restaurant and it was terrible. Took 45 minutes to get food and vegetables were not cooked and they had no bread. They served white bread with butter and it was terrible.

Went here with coworkers while we were in Pearl for a work trip. The food was ok except I ordered my steak medium rare and it was well into medium and approaching well done. I've had better flavored steaks. The service was ok although it took longer to seat us and get us drinks than it should have taken. Not... More

The food here is good as well as the service. They did away with the peanuts on the tables and that was something we enjoyed, but the food and service are good.

Interesting frozen slab on the bar to keep drinks cold. Food was good and reasonably priced. I don't know of I'd make a special trip to go, but if you're in the neighborhood it's a good place to eat and catch a game. It's close to the Jackson Braves stadium.
