We liked the room available, the seating, and the food, although for an Easter brunch I would have liked some more breakfast variations.
My husband took me here for my birthday and it was a perfect way to celebrate. The buffet was filled with of a wide variety delicious food. The owners have preserved the historic beauty of the dining area that it makes any meal special. We loved it so much that we brought my mom and sister there the next week!
This is a fun place to eat! We have eaten there a couple of times now and once for the Mother's Day brunch. We have never been disappointed. It's a fun place to get all dressed up and step back in time. Hope that it's here for many more years to come. Oh...and the food is outstanding!
We loved the Lowell Inn. My husband and I stayed there for a romantic long weekend. We stayed in one of the older rooms with a jacuzzi tub...and found it to be tastefully decorated, very clean, and very romantic. Very good food, had breakfast and brunch on Sunday. Brunch is excellent and very elegant! Yes, you must pay extra for coffee and drinks. Olive salad was really good, eggs Benedict had extra non-traditional ingredients added that were yummy, fresh fruit was excellent, not a huge selection of gluten-free which I need, but I certainly did not leave hungry!
I was invited to a bridal shower luncheon here. Great food and service. Very fancy and upscale. Haven't stayed over night yet, but I may just plan our next anniversary around it!
We had breakfast before checkout at the hotel and it was great. I ordered eggs basted and they were done perfectly. Service at the restaurant was prompt and they kept coming back filling water, coffee, asking if we needed anything. Would recommend if you're staying there.
