Wow the expansion is amazing! The deli is now much bigger and doesn't get as busy as fast. The checkout system is still a struggle but how can you fix that? The pizza was up to $4 a slice but it is a huge, delicious, greasy piece. The pepperoni was great but the special of pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms look... More

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The staple pasta of Cossetta's is their mostaccioli, prepared with a delicious cheese sauce and covered with their house tomato sauce (which is outstanding). It comes in two sizes: "small" and "large" though the difference between the two quantities is more negligible than you'd like it to be. I always order it with... More

We 'discovered' Cossetta's many moons ago when we were in college. We recently returned to see the new renovation and have a bite of some of our favorite foods. Perhaps my memory has faded a bit, but the quality just wasn't there. We had the chicken parmesan, a chicken special with curly noodles and a pesto sauce and a slice... More

The new addition to Cossetta's corner is very impressive and the photographic history of the Italians in St. Paul by itself is worth a visit. The cafeteria is huge, with seating, including outdoor patios, on two levels. The pizza is nice and chewy, but there are many other items on offer, including fresh salads and assorted pastas. Prices are high... More

Reborn, renewed, restructured and still delightful, delicious, and worthy of a place on the list of must visit eateries in the Twin Cities. Expanded offerings in their salad, sandwich and entrees, the great pizza line, more offerings in grocery, meat, cheese, and deli, larger gelato bar, and now the addition of a full line restaurant and bar. From stopping for... More

I have been eating at Cossetta's for many years, the new building is beautiful and the food is still awesome. Last night we had an opportunity to try the new desserts at the Patissere. Most of the treats were delicious and the LaVazza coffee was outstanding. The atmosphere with the italian marble and the chandeliers was wonderful. The chocolate covered... More

The prices have gone up to support the new owners and the new building. It still is good food don't get me wrong. Its just not as good as it was when it was a family run business. The prices have gone way up as well.

I've given my honest and sad review on Louis, the restaurant at Cossetta's, but for all he did wrong there, Cossetta made up for it by hiring New York Italians who know their Italian pastry. I dream about sfogliatelle. I cannot find it anywhere. I've even ordered it, shipped overnight, from an Italian bakery in Canada. Nothing compares to its... More

Love the cafeteria style. Huge selection of food and variety. The kids love it, energetic and lively. The new remodel adds a ton of room. If you are downtown St. Paul and you get a chance, you have to stop in for a cannoli!!

I've always loved going to Cossetta's, and their recent remodeling and expansion project makes it even better. Our recent visit was on a weeknight, so it wasn't very busy, but it is easy to see that there is now room to accomodate the crowds of an event night more comfortably. The market has more space to offer old favorites and... More
