The bartender/server was very friendly and attentive. We had drinks at the bar while learning a lot about the area and Silver Bay.

We stopped in for lunch and a few beers. Our waitress was very good and we both enjoyed the pull pork sandwich and craft beers. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. The gift shop area is cute too.
Old-fashioned restaurant with very good food-great barbeque and fresh fish-also yummy desserts-old-fashioned decor and rooms available-scenic.

Wait staff is always courteous and prompt. Food is fabulous and reasonably priced. Have been here many times, and we will continue to come back!
Surley Furious in can, but still good! Food is the usual but with a nice craft beer who cares. Worth the stop with friends or family.
The staff was all extremely nice and the food was great. The pulled pork was great as was the fish and chips. Our whole family liked the food so much that we came back the next day for a repeat performance.
Wow, I don't know what it is about Beaver Bay, but this tiny town (pop. under 200) has the best two restaurants in the area--and one of them is Camp 61. Gave us great insight on the trails. Offered tidbits about the food but never pressured us to eat there. If we hadn't packed a...

Be very specific about what you want at this newly opened, northwoodsy cafe on Highway 61. On a recent Sunday noon, the place was sparsely filled, the pulled pork was cubed, not pulled,(although the BBQ sauce was excellent), and a request for no onions was ignored by the cook. Luckily we were able to pick those offending onions out of...
