Can't go wrong with chicken in the rough and fries but don't hesitate to try other items. You can't beat the quality and price and vintage 40's decor.

This restaurant has been around for years. The decor is very 40's 50's. They have a quite diversified menu (fish, steaks, chops, ribs) But the chicken is the best I have ever eated. I go there every year for my birthday and as many times in between as I can. Big portions. Big taste. Good atmosphere. Reasonably prices.

The soup is outstanding. Portions large, delicious and reasonable.

It is a small hangout where locals tend to go but they have a take-out around back which we prefer. There burgers are good, which is what my husband really likes but people come from miles around for the chicken. I have had the chicken, I think it's ok but does not hold a candle to Bavarian Inn/Frankenmuth!

While it may not look like much from the outside, it's pretty funky on the inside, and they cook up some fantastic chicken and ribs. Had a fantastic Traverse city salad...yummm.

Best ribs, great service. This is probably the only "must go to" restaurant in Port Huron. A little cramped inside when it is busy.

Liked everything. Great establishment long time part of the community is what I understand. Would go back again and again

My husband & I have gone here for over 30 years. We took a group of 18 for dinner. Called ahead for reservations, not usually required. The food was as good as ever. The staff (esp. Suzanne who has been there forever) was efficient & very pleasant. Will go back the next time in Port Huron for sure.

From the outside the restaurant has an uninspiring appearance but inside it is a very nice and retro kind of decor.
I had the ribs and chicken combo and I thought everything was really delicious. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone and the...

Born and raised in Port Huron, but never ate there because my parents were old fashioned and wouldn't go to a restaurant that served alcohol. Finally ate there on vacation. Awesome ! I had my favorite fish, pickerel. The best. Son had the fried chicken and was so impressed he took a picture of the meal and sent it to...
