We went by today for lunch and the Flat Iron has closed. Too bad as it was the best place for sandwiches ever and we like the owner very much. She had opened a second shop during the recession and it ended up being bad timing.

The lady greeted us but it stopped there. She walked into the back room and started yelling to someone and it wasn't very nice. She told them to hurry and get these people out of here. So we took our order to go. Soup was ok sandwich was good.

We ordered a club and a blt sandwitch. Very good and good value. Ate them at picnic tables outside as there was not eating area inside.

Everything is made to order, right in front of you. It is meticulously clean and fresh. The owners are very friendly. We take our sandwiches and eat outside in the Park, behind the restaurant.

Some reviews say the older lady is rude and doesn't care, but she is very nice if you have a conversation with her. Great home-made bread, yummy deli meat, and fresh topping. It's a little pricey but worh it. My coworkers and I visit here everytime were in town.
