The menu is eclectic as is the decor. Old corner diner that has never been updated. Seems dirty to me. Food is okay. Service is awful. Seems to have a "usual crowd" that frequent it. Small.

Very unusual, off-beat, food selections. Often, these are interesting and good. At other times, perhaps a bit too unusual. The staff often has a counter-culture look to their personal appearance.

This used to be an old Millers Ice Cream Shop. Forty years later, the interior hasn't changed - which means they haven't updated it except to throw a bunch of old tubas and photos on the wall. The food is TERRIBLE! I ordered quesidilla the waitress said, "I should warn you that it's more like a burrito". If it's not...

Yuck. It's crowded and dirty and the wait staff is rude. It just feels creepy. The food was okay, but not memorable. It is definitely an acquired taste because I know people who love it.

I've been here a few times and enjoyed my visits. Interesting decor, featuring multiple types of tubas. Huge beer list, which was a surprise when entering this humble, unassuming spot. The music is eclectic, and the menu changes monthly to different parts of the world. Spot to go to relax, peer around, and read the interesting menu.

I come here once a month. They have a variety of food and I have yet to dislike any of it. I usually go with the Nachos, Falafal or the monthly special. I have also worked my way around most of the world in terms of beers.
The staff is friendly and accepting and the environment is Casual Bohemian to...

This place is unique in the universe. The setting is grubby-waiters hippies, food cheap and great. I love the monthly specials from cultures around the world, vegetarian options, especially the felafel sandwiches. Yum.

We love to eat here, usually 2 or 3 times a month. It's so nice to have a non generic restaurant with fresh and home made food. Very good value, entrees are 10-12 dollars. Bison burgers are less expensive and are really good.
Best selection of world beers anywhere around. 6 pack of James Boags from Australia for 8.95 to...

This is a one-of-a-kind restaurant! The seating is actually within the 'museum' although it consists of tubas on the wall. The naughahyde booths are a bit worn and dated but it all adds to the flavor. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service is good. The menu is varied so you have to check before you go but if nothing else...

Hubby and I were on a vacation in Michigan coming from Wisconsin. He is a tuba player and had spotted this restaurant on-line. We made a special trip to Okemos to visit, eat and see the tubas. Quite the disappointment! The food we ordered was tasty enough (soup and sandwiches), but the place is grungy:(. The carpet was filthy and...
