We arrived after 9:30pm and with little hope of being served. We took the gourmand menu, the home made foie gras and the scallops were my favourite. The ducking was superb too. Michelin quality dining!

This intimate restaurant provides a superb culinary experience, well executed and presented food from local producers, service friendly and very attentive, small but well considered wine list, this is a real treasure in the heart of Kaysersburg. Thoroughly recommended.
Great little town to visit in Alsace area. The restaurant is a short walk from anywhere in Kaysersberg . We all had exceptional meals. My wife went her usual fish route, kids went duck and I travelled down my usual lamb route. Everything was excellent: Food, local wine list and service were all top notch. Intimate and cozy setting make...

We have been dinning at Le Moréote in Kaysersberg twice this year and both dinners have been amazing. Catherine and her husband are doing a great work. On our second visit, we booked the whole restaurant for 20 people (mostly Australians) who gave us great feedback.
Booking is essential and food is served fresh and in season. The wines served...

This was out last night and we were all asked to dress up in Alsacen costumes, so we dutifully ordered them and a group of us paraded down the main street feeling a little self conscious to begin with but gradually got into the spirit of it all. the food and music were teriffic
This was the best meal we had in France, beating out all Paris restaurants! Catherine runs the restaurant with her husband, the chef. One never sees him - he is very busy in the kitchen. Catherine will happily guide you through the menu and selection of local wines. You will not be disappointed. Our party of 3 included my husband,...

Perhaps we were unlucky because the restaurant has a cosy decor and we were told locally how good it was, But we waited a good hour for our main course despite their being no more than seven diners. By the time it came we were desperate to leave, This was because the house cat had marked out its territory somewhere...

Charming & lovely restaurant in a side street. Run by only two (!) people: the chef Pascal and his partner Catherine. He is a brilliant chef, she is a warm-hearted waitress and excellent wine connoisseur. We enjoyed a perfect 6-course meal for ca. 60€ (beverages excluded) and had an unforgettable evening.
If you are more than 4 people, consider taking...

The Moreote is a typical small and cosy alsatian restaurant. The regional cuisine is very nice and you can enjoy the fabulous local white wines. Service was pleasant, charming and professional.
We spent 7 days in Alsace, four of them in the Kayserberg valley and Le Moreote was definitely the best meal we had during that time. Service was superb and the decor was warm and relaxing. We had le Menu du terroir and we enjoyed every bites.
We will certainly go back next time since we are planning to visit...
