We went for a drink at 11:30 on Saturday night. The bouncers labelled my boyfriend as drunk (he'd had two glasses of red wine) and they didn't let him in. I attempted to explain but the bouncer said 'there was no chance'. I understand that bouncers can have a hard time but these guts must have been bored to completely... More

Marley's is an informal bar/restaurant where you are always greeted with a friendly hello and made to feel welcome. We enjoying going for lunch and having their homemade hot dog/hamburger buns. Their taco salad is also good and very fresh. Good beers on tap. If traveling and looking for a fun place, give Marley's a try! More

The innkeeper at our motel recommended Marley's and she was right on in saying what a great hamburger they had. We have never had a burger that was "fried" in beef broth before and it was delicious. The fries and onion rings were also outstanding. Our barkeep/server/cook (a very nice young man) was very helpful and explained about the way... More

A Keewanaw dark draft (Name ?) was perfect as well. The chicken Greek pita sandwich was outstanding. Good service, good food for a reasonable price. An old building off the main street, with tin ceiling, pool table and sports on TV. Not a very quiet place, but it was just right at the end of a long touring day. Very... More

Loved this place! We've been travelling the UP for a week and this is the best meal we've had so far--great burger, great prime rib sandwich, homemade fries and onion rings, good beer selection, and great folks working here...we love good food and checking out local places and Marley's was a hit for both! We stopped in on the same night a local adult basketball league had won a tournament, so they had the run of the place. Decent imported beer selection and a variety of food items available. I love hot wings, and the ones at Marley's were the hottest I'd ever had. Seriously, they should have had a warning label :) We... More

The spicy chicken dumpling soup was incredible. My Son enjoyed his steak burger and hand dipped onion rings. The italian sandwich with pork (cudighi) that I had was also fantastic. This is a very comfortable place. The quality for the price is one of the best I have experienced. More

We ordered, respectively, a standard bar burger and a cudighi sandwich...both were very good. We enjoyed the tin celiings, antique bar accoutrements and vintage atmosphere. It's a little rough around the edges -- it's a bar first and foremost -- but it offers casual diners good food in an atmosphere reflecting the history of the city. More

This sandwich was great! The ingredients were so fresh and it wasn't too oily or too dry. My friend had the Deli sandwich and can't get over how good it was either. Our waitress was very nice but new (you could tell) and I'm sure service will only get better. More
