Went for lunch and very disappointed in the menu selections. Even the drinks were all natural, so I tried their ginger ale which was barely palatable. My grand kids split a grilled cheese (goat cheese) which they could barely eat. But the restaurant was very crowded so I probably just made the wrong choice with this type of restaurant. It... More

So I typed into Google "Best place to eat in Okemos" and this place came up as the second hit. Admittedly, it is not in Okemos, but my husband and I scoped their webpage and determined it worth a look. We are in love. We've been back twice. I love all the sodas and drink choices and the food is... More

I was in E. Lansing visiting my son and his girlfriend. We stopped at Fork in the Road for lunch. It was great food. I had 'the tacos' and thought they were wonderful. Lime and cilantro on chorizo was nice flavor! The chalkboard menu was interesting and service was good. Staff members were friendly. More

I travel a bit and have been in Lansing for two weeks working through the top restaurants in the area, and have found my favorite place. Great ingredients, great food. I plan on spending the last few days in Lansing eating my dinners here I got to watch a great sunset too. More

I had the meatloaf sandwich. It was very good, although a bit heavy on the bleu cheese. It was nearly impossible to eat without making a huge mess because of the thickness of the bread, however the ingredients, mash, meatloaf, sauteed onions and cheese were very good. I felt the bread tasted mediocre and abandoned it about halfway through my... More

I've been here for lunch and brunch and brunch food wins hands down. Pictured is the Haulin' A** Scramble with chorizo, potatoes and homemade tortillas. Really good. The place is busy but somehow their system of ordering first and waiting for a table to open up works. Also be prepared to join other diners when smaller parties are seated together... More

Friends from Lansing had found this place, liked it and insisted we come. We found an opportunity and drove the hour it took us to get there. They were right and it was worth the drive. Real artisan food raised by local food growers. It is clear that this is the proprietors only interest. The duck I had was wonderful... More

We visited after having seen raving reviews. I'm not a fan of having to read the menu from a chalkboard (bad eyes) and while I was reading it the server/owner/chef/whatever somewhat condescendingly insisted on explaining the specials to me in excruciating detail. So the entrance and ordering experience was confusing and food-snobby, and started me off feeling just a little... More

This place is fantastic! The service is incredible, and the food is amazing. I had the Ballin' [--] Tacos with a side of Tots. Yum! Best taco I've ever had More

Maybe I am wrong, but I will give this so called Artisan Dinner a year that's what my wife said and I totally agree. My wife read in the Lansing news about this place and it got raving reviews. So today Feb. 21 we tried it out, and oh my God what a over the top place this is. First... More
