So I might be harsh on this place. But I've been to my fare share of hibachi restaurants and know what to expect. Now it wasn't missing any of the basic stuff I feel our chef didn't really have that wow factor. Rice was harder than it should have been and well the food wasn't anything spectacular. More

Great place for sushi. I love their Vegas roll and their tuna tutaki. Am always excited about eating at Ukai. Sometimes drafty on the sushi side of the restaurant, but their rolls more than make up for it. One of my favorite places to eat. More

While in Lansing, Ukai is my go to sushi place. I recently took a friend who stated that he and his wife love sushi and eat it usually once a week. Asking a few more questions, I found that what he and his wife liked were rolls with cooked seafood inside but had never actually eaten sashimi or sushi raw.....time... More
