Very small place and you need to make reservations, but the food is AWESOME!! Staff is very friendly too:) More

“Go for the fly fishing not for the food”

Gates Au Sable is a river noted for its fly fishing. In addition to the small restaurant is a small lodge and very well equiped fly fishing store. Fresh trout was the specialty of the restaurant which I ordered broiled. It was broiled to the point of being totally dried out. Companion diners ordered their's fried or baked. Same result.... More
