A great place to go with friends and have a good meal and good conversation. Service was outstanding.
The food is pretty good and is priced accordingly. My issue was the service. I asked the waiter what kind of scotchs they had and she told me that I could walk over to the bar and find out. That's not fine dining. I'm not going back because while the food was okay it wasn't anything special and the service... More
05oct2031 - Going to see Miss Siagon at the Fisher the show started at 8pm so my wife and I arrived at Cusine at 6pm. Plenty of time for dinner before the show? Not tonight! The servise was nice, though not overly great, however, the food was very poor indeed. When we ordered our meals we were advised it may... More
Worst service, wait staff and manager. Never was served main course after waiting 1hr & 45 minutes. Had to leave without eating or we would have missed our play. The theater traffic are their main customers and they couldn't have cared less about timing of the meal. They say that is their main focus! I like to support Detroit businesses... More
We love the calm and comfortable atmosphere, the attentive service, and the excellent food. We have never been disappointed with the flavors, presentation or preparation of this hidden neighborhood gem. We like to go on quiet nights where dining is the main event of our evening. The décor is elegant and welcoming, and the servers are well informed about the... More
I had my first experience at cuisine in May of 2013. First of all, I was shocked because it was Friday and we were literally the ONLY table in house! I thought the menu had some very cool items such as fiddleheads, morels, and soft shell crabs. They obviously follow seasonal cooking which is amazing! Unfortunately, I felt it was... More
Goodness the pretension of this place oozes out of the light fittings and drips onto the tables. It's a long time since I've seen red wine decanted and then poured into glasses with a napkin wipe between each pour. And did two chefs really need to be sucking up to a high noter client? They'd have been much better up... More
This is one of Detroit's best restaurants. The French-inspired food is creative and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's one of those restaurants were you can't go wrong. Try something you've always wanted to try and know it will be done right. Start with the charcuterie plate.
Excellent French style food in a lovely old house. Professional but very friendly and unpretentious service. Great bar too.
We took our administrative assistant to Joe Muers for lunch on Secretary's Day. Our waitress was attentive, asked if we were celebrating anything, which we advised we were, the occasion, and her name. She was all smiles. Our order was taken promptly, and all servers and service people did a good job of providing services without being a pest or... More
