The building itself is really nice but the food lets it down big time!!! We ordered duck tacos to start and there was no duck just vegetables. My next course was Asian salad which consisted of lumps of noodles stuck together and gritty mushrooms. On a plus side, the dessert was really good, white chocolate ravioli. I would return again... My girlfriend and I went for dinner and had a nice meal. The service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry so it was not an issue. She had the oysters as an appetizer which she loved. I had calamari. It was solid but not great. My tuna main curse was outstanding. Her salmon was pretty... More

The location is easy to find; just drive down south on Joseph Campeau from Jefferson East to the river and you're there. There's valet parking for $5. The immediate surroundings have been so well restored and the riverwalk maintained so well, you can otherwise forget you're in downtown Detroit. The service was OK; not too attentive, but also not neglectful.... More

Restaurant Week was a great opportunity to try a major player in the Detroit restaurant scene. The service was perfect and also friendly - what a combination! The location is unique, can't wait to go back on a summer day. The food was wonderful with a variety to choose from for each course, with presentation you'd expect from a top... More

Had lunch at the Rattlesnake Club before our business meeting. The service and food are excellent. The setting is elegant and the presentations are most impressive. The presentation of the creme brulee was superb!

Along the riverfront in downtown Detroit, the Rattlesnake Club maintains it's position as a Hidden Gem. The roasted beet salad was delicious. Our waiter, John, recommended the lamb shanks for me and the scallops for my wife. Both were incredible. One of the finest meals we ever had. We selected a bottle of Spanish Red wine that complemented both dishes.... More

It's been more than 20 years since my wife and I had lunch on the riverside patio at Jimmy Schmidt's Rattlesnake Club. My recollection is that while pricey (for Detroit) the food and service were outstanding. But Schmidt left three years ago and probably would've been appalled at the Easter brunch food and service we experienced today! First, for $40... More

This place has the best food in Detroit--fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Dinner is fancier, but lunch here is really a treat, with many sandwiches priced under $10.00.

Farouck is the bartender and some kind of character! The happy hour menu is great (Thurs and Friday) and the drinks are all fair priced. Beautiful location and building. Worth a visit.often!
