Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Waiter was fantastic, food excellent. Each course better than the one before. Clams Casino appetizer was to die for. Entree's were perfection. It was a perfect blend of the old Joe Muer's classiness with tuxedo'd waiters and white table linens but in a very inviting, relaxed atmosphere with stunning views of the Detroit River and Windsor.... I was staying at the Ren Cen on business and was working really late one night. The hotel bar was such a meat market I asked the front desk where else I could eat. They suggested this place and I am so glad they did. The truffle Mac n cheese was so good, I wanted to lick the plate. I... More

We were very excited to give the New Joe Muer Seafood a try, and found just the occasion to do so on my mothers birthday. As you walk into the entrance to Joe Muers it is very charming and welcoming. The staff were all very polite, making sure to say hello as we passed by as we walked to our... More

Better views than the original. Great fish, and I loved the creamed spinach ... equals the original. Service a little questionable, but she worked hard so it was OK. At the moment (2012) it's the place to see and be seen. More

Great special occasion dining spot. From the white bean relish to the blue fish pate, the starters are great. Oysters Rockefeller were tasty, lobster bisque also. Desserts were outstanding. Service was very professional and knowledgeable. Had stuffed flounder (great) and halibut special (good but overpriced). Would have the swordfish steak next time. Was not impressed by the soft shell crab... More

This place reminds you of what dining is all about! Great first impression of servers that remove extra place settings and greet you with knowledge of what is on the menu and what the recommended fish of the day could be. I went for lunch with a colleague and the dining room was hustling on a Friday afternoon. The views... More

8 of us went to dinner last night and we couldn't have had a nicer time. The service was prompt without being rushed and the food was fabulous. We found the wine list extensive with lots of reasonable choices and the martinis are great. I would reccommend the restaurant highly and found it to be very resaonable given the level... More

We have been to Joe Muer's twice and have enjoyed each dining experience there. Great good, good cocktails and a very vibrant atmoshphere right on the Detroit River. More

I probably should not even post this for selfish reasons, the more people that come, the harder it will be to get a reservation but Brunch was so good. It's seafood, but the choices were vast. Salmon Wellington, prime rib, shrimp, omelet station, waffle station, sushi, a raw bar with oysters, plus desserts. Endless Mimosas or Bloody Marys are extra... More
