Service is second to none. Great Italian and Mexican food. What a find! If you visit Detroit you have to dine here.

Where to begin? Welcoming atmosphere (although the neighborhood is a bit rough---do use the valet parking service). Comprehensive menu. Great wine list. My friend and I ordered a steak and the grilled Branzino, and split the dishes----the servings were so generous, we really only needed one entree. The food was fabulous! The fish, tender and perfectly grilled. The meat---wow!...one half...

Went here for lunch with entire staff for work. Pricey for lunch, but something for everyone. The complimentary chips and salsa were excellent. The green salsa was unique with plenty of cilantro. I ordered the Barolo scallopine and it was excellent. Most of my co-workers ordered Mexican and were very happy. Many ordered Fajitas and no one could finish it....

We discovered El Barzon when some friends took us there, and have been back a couple of times since. The food is always VERY good - we highly recommend the Bis di Pasta, calamari, and the Carpaccia Di Zuchini appetizers. All of the pasta is freshly made in house - yum! Last time there I finally tried the Chile N...

Ate here with two local friends who suggested El Barzon. Don't be put off by the location - pay the valet $5 to take care of the car. Pleasantly surprised to see a busy restaurant even at 9pm on a Saturday night. An interesting mix of Mexican & Italian dishes - with lots of options. A couple of bowls of...

My husband and I wanted a great dining experience on Sunday afternoon. We had just come from a night at the MGM casino so fun and dinner at Wolf Gang Puck with a fabulous dinner and experience. We got home to realize we really wanted another great meal to complete our weekend. I went on line and looked for restaurants...

Menu is a mix of Italian and Mexican, which I suppose is handy for groups of diners who can't agree on what to eat - I went for the chicken fajitas, which were ok. Wine list was a bit pricey. Service so-so. But maybe I'm being a bit picky because I was told that this was a great place, and...

My husband has eaten lunch here on occasion and enjoyed it, so we took a couple for an early dinner on a Januray night. The service was very slow from the start even though they place nearly empty (our reservation was for 430pm) For a long time no one even came to take a drink order. When they did bring...

Visited this restaurant on the advice of some of my co-workers. I was skeptical driving to the restaurant but was blown away! Great food and I'll definitely be back! The menu is divided into Italian and Mexican.....I ordered off the Mexican half.
Really enjoyed this restaurant. Great selection of Mexican and Italian dishes. Fresh and homemade pastas, creative Mexican dishes and very friendly, fast service. They really made you feel welcomed. The bar side of the restaurant is a little better to sit on because the main dining room gets a little loud. Make reservations, they are always crowded.
