My wife and I have often wondered at the seemingly historical building just off Route 38 in Woburn, MA. Yesterday was the day we finally gave it a go. We arrived at 2:00 and were immediately seated in one of the several small rooms. The interior of this once-time mansion was wonderful and provided just the atmosphere we were looking... More

I have been here maybe 6-8 times and every time it is absolutely delicious. This is the place for high quality, authentic, fresh Szechuan dishes. Recently we have been getting drinks at the bar before dinner and it has been such a nice experience. All the drinks are hand made and special. The 2 bartenders are sociable and lively and... More

Okay, hope that got your attention. Im talking about a bartender. This restaraunt is in an old historic building somehow saved when the area went corporate. A rotary abuts along with office buildings and an applebees. But this bright yellow colonial (still has the fireplaces in the dining rooms) is a gem! First thing you'll notice is all the plain... I was in the area, saw the sign for Sichuan Garden II, and thought it would be a great place to get take-out for dinner. I ordered the dan-dan noodles, spicy shrimp, sesame chicken, rice, and scallion pancakes. The noodles were good, but everything else was disappointing. The sesame chicken was heavily sweet and the spicy shrimp had very little... More

A group of four of us went to Sichuan garden for drinks and diiner. Hubby and I have been there before, we recommended the place based on the food and drinks we had the last time. This time however.... We were seated, handed menus, and left to our own devices for probably a minimum of 15 minutes. When the waiter... More

Authentic Chinese food, deliciously cooked and presented. Staff were friendly, and provided some pro-tips on selecting complementary dishes, which really turned into a lesson on Chinese cuisine. This was a nice bonus. Ask for things off the menu, be brave! Ask for tips on combinations. Good advice there. I was with a work colleague, but this looked like a lovely... More

The restaurant is situated in a period Colonial just off Exit 35 in Woburn, MA. Very easy to get to and worth the visit. My colleague and I decided we would like to have Chinese food and decided to try Sichuan Garden II. Turned out to be a good idea. The service was great - friendly and helpful. From the... More

I have sampled fine Sezchuan Chinese food all over this country, and this place is a hidden gem, just off I-95 north of Burlington Mall. They have multiple little rooms inside the old colonial house, converted to restaraunt. When I go alone, I opt to eat in the bar, as the little dining areas are so cozy, and I feel... More

The restaurant is in a historic colonial and it was a joy to look around and read the description of the place in the menu. Exceptional service and they made great recommendations. House fried rice and grand marnier shrimp was exceptional. We thought that the house chicken (with cilantro) was different. Would definitely come back and we have designated it... More

The juicy pork bun and smoky hot shredded beef with chilis were really, really great. Best fried rice I've ever eaten. Mai Tai excellent, strong, not too sweet. Can't wait to try more!
