If you're a Mexican lover this is a must try! Flaco has a beautifully decorated interior and very well stocked bar, with an extremely friendly staff. The young man who both tends bar and waits tables is very eager to share his vast knowledge of the many, many tequilas they carry. He's quite the margarita maker as wel!! . Most... More

Coyote Flaco features by far some of the best Mexican dishes I have ever enjoyed. It could be because it is owned and operated by a family hailing from different parts of South America and that their backgrounds with much Spanish cuisine subtly influences the Mexican offerings. The warm chips and fresh salsa are habit forming but without guilt. There... More

Everything was delicious! Aside from the tasty "main dish" part of the meal, the greatest thing was that our plates were not awash in rice and refried beans! It was so refreshing to have a decent sized entree that wasn't overwhelmed with side dishes that we couldn't possibly finish and that weren't the main attraction anyway. The mde-from-scratch margaritas were... More

Tried this purely on a whim. This is not your corner Mexican restaurant, quite the contrary. What we found was delicious, carefully prepared food, served with flair in a warm, inviting dining room.

We had a terrific meal at Coyote Flaco. It was nice to find something other than the choices on Spring and Water streets. The food and drinks were excellent, service friendly, and parking easy. Highly recommend!

Fresh margarita pitchers, homemade guacamole & salsa, vegetarian options, romantic setting and attentive servers--need I say more?

Well okay, it may well be the ONLY Mexican restaurant west of Greenfield and north of Pittsfield, but it's still pretty good. Food-wise, four stars may be a bit of a stretch. The usual standbys (enchiladas, etc.) are pretty good but not exceptional. The guacamole is too bland, imho. But some of the other dishes, like the cheese tamales, are... More

Dinner with friend Nov 9, 2012 - a Friday evening, the place was empty. We soon found out why. Hot chips were provided right away with salsa and chicken salad (a weird combination, but why not), and this seemed like a good beginning. We ordered guacamole, which came with more chips but was flavorless - they had scooped out an... More

This delightful restaurant will surprise you. The menu offers the usual Mexican standards, along with some dishes that are eclectic and imaginative. We started with the classic Tacos al Pastor, which were as close to the variety of tacos you find in Mexico CIty that I have had in the US. Next we had the crab burritos (Jaiba), which were... More

These folks really do an excellent job preparing much better than teh average Mexican cuisine. The cheese tamal was creamy and rich; we wished we had ordered more! And the mole was sassy sweet spiciness.
