We got in late and arrived at the restaurant after it had already closed. We were headed to our car and the manager came running out and he brought us in and said we could have a choice of several items they would prepare for us since the kitchen was closed. Of the dishes offered we chose shrimp over linguini... More

Stopped in for lunch on the spur of the moment with my cousin who was visiting from Maine while I'm innsitting at the Captain Farris House in South Yarmouth. We were pleased. The view was nice--water, boats.....a musclely guy working on his boat! Drinks were good.....server was good and recommended the special to me because I was undecided. Shrimp Alfredo....not... More

I saw their opening day ad. Stopped in early afternoon for lunch. The chowdah was excellent and the fried clams were perfect. The waterfront views are nice. Deck not open yet. Worth the stop

Food was mediocre at best. Do not waste your time or money on this restaurant. Incredibly slow service. Too many restaurants on Rte. 28 to eat at to waste your time or money on this one.

The worst of the worst - bad food, old place, just because they have a boat for a building - don't let the kids talk you into it.

Except for the hostess, this was our best dining experience on the cape. Waiter was prompt, courteous and tended to our needs. We had the Lobster supper for 4. Everythng was great, including the cost.

We ate at the Lobster Boat twice during our week on Cape Cod. Had dinner one evening with enough leftovers that we added chowder to take out and had it the next night at home. Also ate lunch there the next to last day on the Cape. They are known for their clam chowder and rightfully so. I had been... More

I've visited "The Boat" every time I travel Cape Cod. Seaside dining, experienced staff, friendly barstaff and ample portions bring me back. Twin lobsters rule. I have also gotten lobsters "to go", packaged up neatly.

Inside was an ocean lovers dream. Very nautical and felt just like you were in a boat. Views of the marina were an added touch and the food was great

Total excellent experiences. Me and husband went for dinner; had twin lobster and native steamers. Both lobsters had roes allover and the steamers were tender and tasty. Service is good and only had wait for 10 mins for table on Friday night. It was so good that we went back for lunch next day. We had their famous onion ring... More
