Very good meal - crowded dining room - creepy guests next to us.... Waiter was very knowledgeable. Food was awesome. Husband did the clambake with a boiled lobster - more food than he could eat.... I had the lobster scampi, very good also. Lobster was a little overcooked but still tasty. Lobster bisque was to die for, and the salad... More

Just a really fun place to eat in P town. Food is great and service is fantastic! Always busy but we went early on Saturday night and had a very short wait. Well worth it.

Recently had the lobster roll. Nothing to write home about. The roll was either not fresh or left too long in the oven as it was quite dry. Quite a disappointment.

We were walking the main drag, looking for an afternoon Bloody Mary. The Lobster Pot has an iconic facade. So attractive and so Cape Cod. But, we were feeling… traditional. So thought "No." This is Ptown after all! Well, we were wrong. A greeter engaged us on the street by the door. On explaining that we were just looking for... More

We stopped in for dinner this week and decided after looking at the menu that most of the entrees were out of our price range. We decided to get a couple of appetizers and one salad item. The mussel appetizer was fabulous. They were HUGE and delicious. The calamari was luke warm at best and the serving was ridiculously small.... More

This place was recommended but I don't see how. The lobster was chewy! The clams also chewy. I had my heart set on a great lobster dinner. The lobster had those orange eggs that made a mess on my plate and gave it a bitter taste. The view from our table was fair. It too was disappointing. Sad since it... More

I've been the Lobster Pot twice now - on both of my trips to PTown and both times I've left a little disappointed. It wasn't that my food was bad - but for the price and the hype, it just wasn't that great. I had better lobster at other restaurants. It seems like a Provincetown staple thing to do, but... More

This place was fantastic. Good quality, delicious food and super super friendly staff. I ate there on mother's day so I got my entree half off! Even without that it definitely would have been worth it. Also, the view of the water is fantastic! Get a window seat!

The food, service, and overall experience at The Lobster Pot were all wonderful. After a day of walking the beaches and cycling around P-town, three of us were very thirsty and in search of a place to have a drink outside on a Tuesday in early May. Very few places were open. Shawn, the host, invited us to get a... More

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. The staff was super friendly and joined in the celebratory spirit. We had a large table with excellent service and a beautiful waterfront view.
