If you are looking for authentic Italian food then the Tuscany Tavern in Plymouth is your best bet. It is extremely small and cozy inside with the aromas of basil and garlic around you. We have visited this restaurant a few times and have enjoyed the food there tremendously! Highly recommend this to tourists and locals.

Always a good meal and service. Small restaurant, simple menu, quality ingredients. I struggled making a choice but settled on the house special salad...always fresh and wonderful, and a pasta. Couldn't have been better.

This was my first trip to Tuscany Tavern and I have to say I was impressed. It is very small and you get the North end (Boston) feel without traveling 60 miles to Boston. I love the fact that you can see the kitchen and smell all the aromas. The food was really good and fresh with a great amount... More

I understand that this place has had a number of chefs in past years that have resulted in some very mixed reviews here. Whoever was cooking on the Tuesday night I was there knows what they are doing. The Bread Rule: No restaurant that serves lousy bread makes make good food". The bread at Tuscany was perfect, hot out of... More

After making reservations for 7:30, we ended up arriving early and were seated right away, which is good because there really is no waiting area! The room is small with about 10 tables and an open kitchen. Service was prompt with a serving of warm crusty bread and dipping oil. We ordered the antipasto platter and it was just big... More

This has always been one of my top ten old reliables for good, moderately priced food in the Plymouth area. I recently took out of town guests there and was disappointed that they seemed to have lost their touch. Their usual flare with a Caesar salad was not in evidence and the dressing was not generously applied. We each a... More

This is a tiny restaurant in Plymouth, with the cooking done in view of the dining room. Our family enjoyed our meals; the three young adults all had the gnocchi, which they really liked. Very nice.

It is one room with a kitchen and perhaps 10 tables. The food is cooked right in that room and is very good.

We stopped here on the way back to Boston in a rainstorm and had a lovely dinner. The food is excellent (I think the best Mushroom soup I've ever eaten!) and the service was fantastic. The restaurant is small, upscale casual and cozy. Definitely a great Italian meal!!!

Very intimate with wonderful service! Food was pretty good, I wouldn't say best I've had, but definitely a good place to go!
