The Barnacle is a small bar and restaurant right on the harbor. It's not fancy, but the food is fresh and plentiful. The atmosphere is casual and fun.

Really fun experience - especially if you have guests or are a tourist. Right on the water, very cozy atmosphere and good food - chowder, fish and chips - not for gourmet eating

This place has tons of character.. did not eat there only had drinks... meet a ton of people at bar which was very very small...bartender was GREAT. would love to go back and try their food...

When in Marblehead, head down to Front Street to eat at the Barnacle. The view of Marblehead Harbor is amazing. It is a cozy local place when the menu doesn't disappoint. Try seafood (lobster), steak tips, and great french fries! The bar has a following. Service is quick and accommodating. You won't be disappointed!
