If you are an admirer of New England kitsch and history, then Joe's is a place for you to come! When you arrive, you will notice that there are signs and posters everywhere explaining that Norman Rockwell used this very restaurant to illustrate the Saturday Evening Post's cover of a cop talking a boy out of running away as they... The place is tiny and the service slow but they seem to have a loyal local following. The food, when you finally get it, is good and the price is reasonable so if you are a couple that is not pressed for time, give it a shot.

Our hotel keeper recommended that our party of six eat breakfast at the iconic "Joe's Diner" in Lee, MA. The diner has had a long and starry reputation for good food, large portions and reasonable prices. Here's the problem: after getting the wrong order, having a cup of milk spilled down my back by the server, seeing the coffee pot... More

Incredible! Real old fashioned neighborhood diner. Food is incredible prices reasonable and service reminded me of being at home. No over politeness to get a great tip and yup maybe even a swear or two heard but Joe's is the real hometown deal. My family and I loved it and will be back again next year

This place is the best in the area. The food is great and you get plenty of it. It is a locals favorite spot. It can be crowded because they are always busy but you will not find a better deal for your money any where else in Lee.

My wife and I have been going to the Berkshires for several years and stay near Lee, MA. Every year we make sure that we go to Joe's Diner for breakfast and every year we have not been disappointed. The food is good and is reasonably priced. The dining area is very small, with tables squeezed in around the walls.... More

I visited Joe’s with friends who grew up in Lee and for whom this diner is a timeworn old friend. Our visit was preceded by stories of Joe (who no longer owns the diner) and his family and that clearly added to the experience for me. The diner itself is a time warp – still in the 1950’s in décor,... More

First of all, the good. You can get decent food here for low prices. So what am I complianing about, you might ask? The ghastly, shockingly bad service from one of the most miserable people I have ever met. Our waitress was so bad tempered it was scary, and they were not busy, and she was not rushed. The place... Nothing particularly special .. Just your average local diner venue. Claim to fame is where Norman Rockwell supposedly ate.
