Friends took us here. They gave the place a big build up. The inside really needs a make over. I wonder if they can get Gordan Ramsey to visit? Anti pasta starter was presented as a big pile on a small round plate...............why not spread out on a larger plate so you can see what was there? Nothing special deli... More

I've been here twice. You always want to give a place more than 1 chance. Both times, it was mediocre at best. Too bad, because people would really love an authentic, creative, delicious Italian option nearby. I agree, the interior has no abience. Each time I had been there, my party was only 1 of 2 or 3 parties there,... More

The food is authenic and very good but a little too expensive for what you get. The Atmosphere is very nice. Parking can be a problem on the weekend

This was my second visit to Sofia Ristorante. It was as wonderful this time as it was the time before.. I had the chicken prepared with white wine, served with roasted potatoes and grilled eggplant and zucchini. It was light and delicious. My dining companion had the lasagna. I had a taste and honestly it was the best lasagna I have... More

Had another fantastic meal there last night which was 1 of many over the last few years. It's become the favorite meeting point between us and some friends whenever they are in town. I also never hesitate to entertain customers there if I'm local to Hudson. The owner and the chef take great pride in the quality of the food... More

Atmosphere is ok. There were 7 of us mid week, 3 other smaller parties already there. Waitperson (wife of owner says a local in our group) was attentive but maybe having an 'off' night: told us certain entrees came with pasta but potato and veg arrived. We asked about it and were told 'I'll bring the pasta.' After another wait,... More

This place was highly recommended by a friend of mine so I decided to take ny wife there for her birthday this past Friday. We got there at 7:20 and there were some empty tables but there were some that had tables of six & 8 then then a few of just 2 & 4 people. Our waitress came by... More

Home style cooking is always subject to interpretation, and Sophia's interpretation of italian cuisine is not bad at all. If you are in the area and plan on stopping by, do go to restaurants.com and see if you can get a coupon - the food is on the pricey side. I don't consider it "fine" dining - it is more... More

The building is so old it smells musty and the decor is old and run down. Lambrusco by the glass at 7.50?! Pretty sure that's the 1.5L price at the store (not that I drink fizzy wine). We couldn't afford a bottle of wine - cheapest Chianti at $62 from a maker I don't know - ended up with a... More
