Your basic everything Cape Cod seafood in a clean, family run, indoors and out restaurant on Route 6A. Fried but never greasy. Easy access.

After driving by for years, I finally stopped in and was I ever happy! There is only outdoor seating, and the picnic tables under the pines are so nice you feel like staying and reading a book! You've GOT to try the Captain's Reuben special. I've NEVER had such a good fish sandwich. The prices are very reasonable and the... More

Kate's is a convenient place to stop and grab lunch when you're at some of the Brewster beaches. Fried clam strips and fried oysters were yummy. Lunch for 3 adults and 1 child came to $90, which seemed a bit high for something we just grabbed quickly to eat.

As road side stands go, put this one at the top of the list. Outdoor picnic table seating, with a nearby beach (free parking after 3PM) offering an even more alfresco setting. Friendly employees. Good food, and an excellent value. Even if you are not looking for seafood, you can go straight to desert... their ice cream is awesome!

We went to Kate's as soon as we hit Brewster as we were starving. Lunch was great and we didn't have to wait at all. We'd definitely recommend.

Kate's is the ultimate summer food stand. You want ice cream? A parade of flavors, each one fresher than the last? This is the place. You want fried seafood? Any fish you want, and copious quantities of it, with terrific sweet potato fries (much better than the cole slaw)? This is the place. You want a beautiful sunset while you're... More

Being from the West Coast, we had never heard of a lobster roll before. Since every eatery up and down the Cape boasts their lobster rolls, we felt it would be necessary to our "Cape Cod experience" to give one a try. It was a giant hoagie bun with a little lettuce, a few tomato pieces, a little mayo (or... More

If you want some good, simple seafood with no atmosphere this is a good choice. It looks like just another seafood shack, but the food is better than most and it is quick and easy for a family.
