Food is good and service is attentive but borders on overly friendly. We had a good dinner but not superb when we got the bill however we noticed an extra wine on our tab that we did not order. When brought to the attention of our server and it was taken care of however we wonder how often this mistake... More

Had the Pan Seared salmon and veal piccata entrees - very good. Salads were excellent - wine good. The booth we were in was in a high traffic area - not too happy about the traffic. The waitress seemed to be always over at another table and we had to keep trying to get her attention. Good but could have... More

After a show at the North Shore Music Theatre, we drove to this nearby restaurant. There we found delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The wild mushroom risotto, prime rib, and scallops got rave reviews from among our party of four. But the tuna, which the server recommended be cooked medium rare, ended up cold and pink on the inside.... More

We went there Saturday night, four of us..We all have terrible meals, the prime rib you couldn't even cut, never mind eat, the filet was dry and the salmon potato crust was burnt. Service was only fair at best..Very disappointing, will not return there again, we used to go alot..

Cygent is a cozy restaurant with spacious seating in two dining rooms. The food is American with an emphasis on fresh. I particularly like the chopped salad.

We flew to the Boston area on the way home from a 5 1/2 week trip to Iceland and a riverboat down the Danube. This stop was to enjoy the fall color and rest from the long flights. We stopped in this town and the wine shop suggested this place for lunch. It was a great find! We had haddock... More

On a recent trip to the Boston area, my family and I agreed that this restaurant was a positive standout among the several restaurants at which we ate. It is located in a charming village. The restaurant interior reminded me of a comfortable, but well appointed country house. (The men's restroom was spotless and well-decorated, including having a tome on... More

On a day when the weather was unseasonably warm I wanted a place to have a comfortable and delicious lunch. Mission accomplished! The service was outstanding and so were our salads. When I asked for a specific salad that was not on the menu the waitress and kitchen were not only accomodating but asked what specific ingredients I liked. That... More

This restaurant is perfect for special occasions as well as a special dinner. The setting is downtown Beverly Farms but when you get inside you are in an intimate but roomy setting with newly decorated, comfortable seating. The service is always excellent. The menu is small but varied enough to meet all taste buds. The food has never disappointed. Try... More
