Two weeks ago my wife and I were driving home to the Outer Banks from Long Island and were getting hungry and tired - a dear friend recommend we stop at MARKET STREET INN in Salisbury MD. So glad we did - we will make this restaurant our go-to-spot for each trip back and forth from our old home stomping... More

This place is situated along the river; tables in the restaurant section have an open view; no windows by the booths in the pub/tavern section. Nice weather allows for outdoor seating. Food is quite good, but very pricey. We ordered from the pub menu yet still spent $40 for two people before tip. Service was extremely difficult. It was a... More

Went recently for lunch. It took them over 50 minutes and we were one of only three filled tables . They messed up one of our orders, so that added a little time, but the table next to us had a similar wait. The food was ok,but I will not go back for that kind of service for sandwiches.

With all the five-star rave reviews, we expected a lot from this charming-looking place on the edge of the pretty little Wicomico River. We were a little disappointed, perhaps because of those high expectations. I had the ahi tuna and it was high-quality fish, seared perfectly, but served with slightly watery sautéed zucchini. The wasabi sauce that came with the... More

Stopped here after reading about it in the AAA Travel Book. My husband and I both had the Black Bean Burger. It was spicy, included an avocado and cheddar-jack cheese, salsa. I chose to have wheat bread while my husband had rye. We both chose to have a side of collard greens that were very tasty with some hot pepper... More

My wife and I met on of my college friends for dinner here on our first night in town. We could have been seated outside on the deck, but we thought it might rain, and before we left the restaurant it did. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Everything was very fresh and very filling; we didn't have... More

We were able to sit outside on the "river" (not much of a river!). The food was very good and reasonably priced. Waitstaff was pleasant and efficient. We will definitely go back.

Enjoyed a very nice business lunch there. Good menu reasonably priced. pretty outdoor seating along the river. Music on the deck made conversation a bit difficult but the food and outdoors on a beautiful spring day made up for that. Had the crab cake sandwich and it was delicious. I will definately be going back.

We stopped for an early lunch; excellent. I started with a cup of Jambalya and had a Ruben. Husband had soup of the day - chicken and potato and a Ruben; both excellent. I didn't know that Salisbury had anything but chain restaurants and was glad to find this one, which I found on Trip Advisor by the way. We... More

We were in Salisbury, MD for one night and didn't want to go to a chain restaurant, so we went here. I had an excellent Mojito, for a starter, a spicy Jambalaya soup and for a main meal Coconut Shrimp. Everything was very fresh and very filling, we didn't have room for dessert. They also give you bread, with four... More
