While stopping in Bethesda overnight for business, a colleague and I strolled over from the Hyatt Regency to give Olazzo a try, having seen many favorable reviews on Trip Advisor. We loved Olazzo! The food was excellent, the prices fair, and the service personable and efficient. The kitchen was very accommodating when I wondered if the Shrimp Pesto entree could... More

During a recent visit to DC, my boyfriend and I were looking for a romantic, dressy restaurant for a night out. We selected Olazzo because the website showed what looked to be a unique hole-in-the-wall style with great food, and a good atmosphere. While the food was great, the atmosphere was more like a bar than restaurant. Almost everyone in... More

My family and I were visiting D.C. from Maine. Our favorite restaurant is Olive Garden, NOT ANYMORE! We loved Olazzo's so much, we ate there two nights in a row!!! All plates are AFFORDABLE and they have some great specials, including half price bottle of wine on Tuesday's. Absolutely Fabulous Food!! Wish we lived closer! Great place to bring kids,... More

Dropped in for quick bite. Sat at the bar and had great service from Adam. I tried the Chicken Cardinale - nice pasta dish in a lite tomato-cream sauce. The bread is delicious. On Monday it was half-off a bottle of wine - a great deal. I'll definitely be back!

It was a surprisingly nice food, fresh, nice service and general good feel to this restuarant. We are definitely going again.

I love Olazzo, I have been 3 times and every time is a treat. I have had something different every time I have visited. I love the shrimp and crab rose, the meatball sliders are GREAT!, the side salad that comes with the meal is also a very nice addition. I have also had the shrimp pesto and grilled eggplant... More

Good Italian restaurant that has expanded to meet their customers needs. Now with a bar side and dining side. Not your higher end restaurants like Grapeseed and Cesco, but also not the high price. This is a place you can go to a few times a month and enjoy a nice meal.

No pretense here. Noisy, busy, but tasty Italian food in basic surroundings with families, couples, and friends having a good time. Reasonably priced wine and a solid value. Impress a date somewhere else.

We went in for brunch this past Sunday. Located across the street from the Rock Bottom Brewery - you don't want to miss it! The weather was beautiful - some people were even eating outside! We got a great booth in the bar area. You could order off the brunch menu or the regular menu. Our party ordered off of... More

Great value, nothing to dislike. Popular for obvious reasons. More crowded than most of their neighbors.
