Awesome restaurant, great location, fabulous staff, and food to die for. Outstanding wine list. Try the steak. I absolutely recommend this spot if you are in the Bethesda area. Jazz band in the bar, outdoor eating optional, lively atmosphere. You could tell that EVERYONE was enjoying their evening at the restuarnt.

Had weekend brunch with friends. Breads were outstanding, so was the selection of champagnes. That alone was worth it. Good was OK, a good attempt at a complex menu. Wait staff was OK, a little green, but tried to please. Sitting outside in the sun, people watching and just relaxing made the experience. What a great time

This is our go-to restaurant for special occasions. It has been for decades. Most of the time it is advised to make a reservation.

If you like steak, amazing fries, creamed cauliflower and wine - eat here!!! I have never had bad service, incorrect food or ill cooked food at this location. Their French Onion Soup is the best I have ever had. Give it a shot, they have everything from salads to deserts. Don't forget Sunday Brunch - it is a good deal... More

Yes, Mon Ami Gabi is just exactly as advertised. A medium to high end steak oriented bistro. There is a good reason that it is always so crowded! I have never been disappointed in the many times I have eaten there. Wines also very good!

Having lived in Bethesda in the early 90s, it was a pleasant shock to see how much it's changed, including "Restaurant Row" where Mon Ami Gabi stands at one end of a long line of restaurants. I've been to the one in Vegas, so was hoping the service/food would be the same quality, and it definitely was. Atmosphere was quiet... More

This place never disappoints us. We bike from Silver Springs to DC and stop here on the ride back. If you're early enough, you can catch happy hour and enjoy a glass of wine with a small plate. The service is always friendly, even though we may be a bit dusty and in our riding gear. There's a bike rack... More

Mon Ami Gabi in Bethesda serves very good French bistro food in beautiful and cozy dining rooms decorated with dark wood. This was my second dinner there, and I chose again the steak and fries with Bernaise sauce, which I had enjoyed so much in the first visit (I'm all for variety, but sometimes it is nice to simply repeat...
