Enjoyed a huge stack of perfectly prepared fried clams. French fries on bottom, but more clams then fries! Great value at $14.99. I think these might beat Mike's Clam Shack. Not much to look at and limited seating, take out available. As a long time resident, recommend.

Since Fisherman Catch opens in May we delay our visit to Maine so we can go to Fishermans. The fish is so fresh and cooked to perfection. This is a must stop when in Maine.. Nothing fancy, but the food is great and plenty of it.

Was here for the first night of the 2013 season and the place was packed. The wait was only about 15 minutes and definitely worth waiting for! We had lobster, steamers, mussels, clam chowder (some of the best ever), and fried oysters. Everything was perfectly cooked and served with a smile. This is a simple picnic table kind of place... My husband and I went to this place (a local realtor recommended it when we were looking at cottages in Wells last summer) and loved it. It is a true, down to earth Maine seafood joint. Prices were fair, the atmosphere was fun, and this was the first place I ever needed to come home with a logo t-shirt (fun... More

You bet, " Really The Best" those are really big shoes to fill, and fill they do! The Cardinelli Family has found the secret to some of the best food on the Coast of Maine. This is truly one of the "no longer" hidden secrets, nor should they be. This family owned restaurant is a Coastal Gem! The Cardinelli's, Amy,... More

We visit the Wells-Ogunquit area from Colorado every summer and this restaurant and the wonderful Cardinelli family and their staff is a major reason we make the trip. Yup, no fooling its that great. We can eat a meal there almost every day while in the area and not get tired of the menu or the atmosphere. It is just... More

My husband and kids go here. They have the best lobster chowder around. We travel from VT to eat here. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. Other great food as well. We have never had a bad meal.

When you talk about seafood shacks in Maine, Fisherman’s Catch is what you think of how they should look. It is a little off the beaten path, down a side street from the main street in Wells. This place is so cute with picnic tables and benches. The décor is very fishermanly. Just love their little lobster guy logo, which... More

Easily the best place for seafood around. Rustic and seating- think paper towels and picnic tables help keep prices low and the food great. The service is wonderful, and the food is the best around. Locals love it, and so do tourists- so avoid peak hours if you want to get a table.

Have been going to this small hidden fish shanty for years. Seems like every year it gets better. Everything on the menu is fresh and cooked perfectly. Clam chowder is out of this world. Lobster and lobster rolls are some of the best we have had in this area. Prices are very reasonable and service is great. As with any... More
