We love getting up to Ogunquit and do so all year round. One of the things we like doing there is getting breakfast at the Cove Cafe. Our timing hasn't been good over the past few years but since our first meal here (in 2001) if it is open it is a must. Had a fine breakfast again this past... More

I have to say I laugh everytime I drive by the line at Amore to go to Cove Cafe. Food is 10x better at Cove then Amore- what a tourist trap. Its a small family run restaurant with fantastic food and people. I have been to all the breakfast places in OGT,and Wells and the only one we return to... More

This place is simply amazing! The atmosphere, friendly staff, and of course the food are beyond compare. Not to mention the place is immaculate! So impressed by the freshness of the food! The fruit--you know is cut fresh every morning. I love the girls, the smiling chef and even the cute young guys washing dishes out back. It is evident... More

Some of locals I met at a local retail store recommended this place, so we finally went. It's a crampe space and was crowded and hot. We had a 15 minute wait outside on the street ended up sitting at the bar. I ordered the special omelette with spinach but could not finish it and the homefries were raw. I... More

After reading the reviews and missing out on a visit here last June (2012) because it was closed we couldn't wait to finally have breakfast here! We ordered a crab meat omelet, and house made corned beef hash with runny poached eggs and 1 blueberry pancake. The omelet was good! BUT the toast was stale-hard-and inedible. The corned beef hash... Whether you want the basics like hash and eggs - homemade has by the way. Or, you want to indulge - cream cheese stuffed french toast with house-made blueberry sauce..... the Cove won't disappoint. Definitely give it a try.

We took a walk into Perkins Cove and found this small cafe for breakfast. Since it was still a weekday, off season we got in without a wait. The last time we tried to get a table a year ago, there was a half hour wait. The waffles were light and the strawberry topping was real strawberries, not sauce. If... More

This is a great little place that is easy to miss but definitely worth a visit. It's right near one end of the Marginal Way and is perfect if you're finishing your walk along the Way at that end and you are hungry for breakfast. The small dining room is comfortable and cozy and the staff is extremely friendly and... More

I had the Crab cake benedict, and Ann had an omelet. The nice thing for me about a benedict is having the yoke run with the hollandaise sauce, so really not a happy bunny when the yokes are over done and hard, and Ann's omelet was also slightly over cooked. We had eaten the day before, just up the road... More

Cove Café is absolutely adorable. That’s how we decided to eat here after seeing pictures of it. It’s a little place but worth it. This is where we had our first taste of Maine blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and they were delicious. The order also came with scrambled eggs. The 3 huge pancakes alone would have been enough. We... More
