I almost feel apologetic writing this review, as the staff was nice, and the Bush family memorabilia was really fascinating. So, here it comes......... Had lunch with a friend, we both got lobster rolls. Tough meat, all knuckle meat. ($18) Came with soggy and cold fries, and some kind of weird cole slaw......it was like a vinegar style cole slaw,... After a long ride along the coast we stopped at the Bartley's Dockside for a late lunch. We were greeted by Julie, our warm and friendly waitress and seated by the lovely fireplace overlooking the docks outside. We ordered the succulent lobster stew, the "should have an award for" fried haddock Reuben sandwich and the scrumptious full belly fried clams.... More

My friends and I visited Kennebunkport on St. Patrick's Day. Of course we ate at Bartley's Dockside Dining. Excellent chowder and Lobster Roll. They have a new twist on an old favorite. They are now serving Haddock Rubens and Turkey Rubens. They are both excellent. Served on grilled marble rye bread, topped with thousand island dressing, cole slaw, Haddock or Turkey,... More

On vacation from Florida, hungry, we. scanned the restaraunts, and chose the Bartley's based on a full parking lot. We were NOT disappointed, my wife had the chicken Caesar, and I had the lobster roll, both came out perfect. Don't miss the Blueberry Pie, excellent ! We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere with all the Bush pictures was wonderful. To... More

I was surprised by other reviews about this place, because I had two great lunches here. it's clearly a family-run place that makes things to order, no microwaved stuff. The lobster stew was great, and caesar salad very good. So the next day I came back and had an excellent fried clam roll. I went in Jan. so very off-season,... More

Like many others we had driven a long way and were hungry so we thought we had few choices of where to eat. The lobster was overpriced and scanty in the shell this time of year. The lobster stew was probably made with milk not cream. My mixed drink seemed to lack the kick of every other one I've had.... More

Having lunch at this place was like visiting an asylum being run by the patients. It would have been amusing watching the very odd antics of the people working here if we could have actually gotten decent service but alas, it was not to be. We were the only ones there and the service was a disaster as was the... More

I have gone there for many years, can't say too much about other than the BEST Lobsta Rolls on the planet! As for parking, if your lucky it's free just outside (busy place in season), but just over the bridge in KBP is the town parking lot that is pretty cheap, if not free; and the Honor System one not... This little family restaurant is hopping with a great staff that knows their wine, great flavors ( chefs are top notch!) and Brian the owner makes you feel so welcomed. There are some nice places in the resort town but this place is the friendliest, nicest and delivers the most delicioud food!
