The Clam Shack is a simple place serving delicious food in a very casual setting in Dock Square. Legendary lobster rolls are loaded with meat. Fried haddock and clam strips among other delicious offerings complete this roadside stand. There are simple seating areas and even a casual indoor area to enjoy your seafood. A MUST try place worth a detour!

Many awards for their incredible lobster rolls. The clams are fresh and are perfectly fried in light batter. This is a must-eat takeout if you visit or live in the Kennebunks.

Very fresh - but look out for the sea gulls - they like it too! The streetside/riverside atmosphere is terrific. They do a great job on those addictive fried clams.

I have always loved their clam strips, on occasion I have the scallops, but usually the strips. Just behind/next to it is a little walkway over the harbor to eat at, but my favorite is if I can park right out side and get to the beach fast to sit and chow down on the hot food! Great, fresh seafood. Cash only, expensive and long waits - but worth it! The lobster rolls were delicious, as were the fried clams. Only outdoor seating!
