We ate here on the recommendation of our hotel and could not have been happier. The selection from the A La Carte menu was superb. Each of us enjoyed our dishes; steak, chicken, and lobster. The portions were just right and preceded with a delicious salad. The deserts were also excellent. The prices are more than fair.

My wife and I had the 7:30 five-course dinner - delicious and ample with plenty of reasonably priced wines. Only downside was that everyone was seated at 7:30 and served at the same time plus the tables were a bit crowded so it felt a bit like an assembly-line.

My husband and I were vacationing for the long weekend in Camden. After asking around about restaurants, we were told by several locals that we must try the Hartstone Inn... We were overwhelmed with how wonderful it was! The people were gracious and inviting, the hostess was even very knowledgable about wines and helped us pick out a wonderful Chardonnay... More

We enjoyed a lovely prix fixe menu in a party of twelve with excellent food. Their wine list is outstanding with reasonable markups. The only criticism is that the service was rushed which left the occasion less relaxed, but I would gladly eat there again!.

A fine restaurant integrates attention to detail regarding food quality, presentation, service, background music, and atmosphere. The Hartstone Inn did a fabulous job of attending to all of these details when my wife and I went there for dinner. Our special evening started with our hostess, who was so thoughtful and had a delightful air of mystery about her as... More

The location is lovely. We went because it was rated #1 on Tripadvisor. The location is lovely. The food was just ok; cream in every dish - the filet of fish was fried and then bathed in a creamy sauce - welcome back to the 70s. The souffle was excellent although the 'magic' was helped along by leavening agents and... More

My husband was kind enough to send my sisters, mother and I out for dinner. The drinks were great and dinner was amazing. I appreciated not having to choose the menu, but instead enjoyed each course as it was served. I have always loved visiting Camden and Hartstone Inn is a wonderful compliment.

After booking a romantic getaway to the Hartstone Inn, my husband and I decided to sign-up for a cooking class that was being offered during the weekend of our stay. What better way to celebrate Maine than a cooking class dedicated to lobster? This was one of the best cooking [demonstration] classes I’ve ever experienced. Everything was delicious, from the...
