We finally were able to eat here after several missed attempts (our schedule, not Three Tides'). We began with oysters, then had mussels, a crab quesidilla, and a pizzerette. The oysters were outstanding, the mussels perfect, and the other two dishes a delightful surprise. We ended up with the best carrot cake I have ever tasted. Oh, and the beer... More

We had drinks at this place after spotting it along the dock. We opted to sit outside in their beer garden. They had several selections from their own brewery. One might think that they would be excited to offer info on the selection. Instead we found them snobby and unhelpful. When we inquired about a particular brew, we were corrected... More

Went here During a very hot spell when every other restaurant was crowded or the A/C wasn't working well in others. Thought that eating on the deck would be cooler but it wasn't. We both had quesadillas. We had to ask for more salsa because the meal literally came with a shot glass full of salsa. The waitress came back... More

My husband is quite the beer... More

We didn't eat here but sat looking over the bay and enjoyed a few drinks. The place is pretty funky; we had a wonderful evening laughing, people watching and relaxing. We would definitely go back...maybe even eat next time!

I made a mistake by giving my review of three tides to another restaurant. This place has the great Cant Dog ale (a cant dog being a long pole with a steel point on one end with a hinged hook for moving logs around.)

Three Tides is the pub for Marshall Wharf Brewing Co., which is located next door.My wife and I visited Three Tides in May 2012. It is located in a gray building along Belfast's small waterfront. The signage is not that prominent, and the banner type sign it does have does not face directly towards the parking lot, so it takes... More
